We had an epic rain storm last Friday. I love this kind of rain that rolls in by afternoon--just when everyone thinks they're going to dry up and blow away in the wind. And since we were lucky enough to have good friends staying with us at the time, what could we do but put on bathing suits and get a little wet. It just may be the best shower some of us have had for a week.
And where was Lily during all of this? Playing comfortably inside, of course.

After the rain...does anyone else think of a Nelson song when I say that? You know...the two guys with the long blonde hair...it was their only hit... I may have watched too much MTV in the 90's.
And then Dad came home and that was the best ever!
