Alex has been pretty clever with his paper airplanes lately. Yesterday he designed one that had a little tube attached for dropping bombs or sending messages. It actually flew pretty well, so we started sending messages back and forth from the kitchen table to the bar.
There were a few more messages regarding appropriate materials and trips to home depot, but this robot duck has not yet come off of the drawing board, but I think we could make this a rubber band wind-up toy. Maybe it's a little ambitious for 4 days before Christmas and a sick little girl in my charge, but we"ll never know until we try. In any case, it's not Christmas unless you're totally worn out by the end, right?
