Alex this morning:
"Hey Mom! My sunflower has 5 blossoms on it! and in other news that cricket outside just lost two legs."
Yes, he actually said, "In other news". I died.
As for the cricket, I guess he's waiting until he can notify next of kin before he can reveal it's name and/or reason for the detatched limbs.

Oh, I love it! You need a "Funny Book". My Mom made me one and hounds me til I write the funny things my kids have said in it. From what I've read you need one... BAD!
